Valencia has emerged as a frontrunner in the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott, with the Spanish club reportedly interested in securing the 23-year-old England U21 international on loan. Elliott, who has attracted attention from several European clubs including Italian sides Lazio and Napoli, remains a Liverpool player as the club has yet to receive a formal offer.
Meanwhile, the Premier League transfer window continues to see significant activity. Jack Grealish was notably absent from Manchester City's squad for their recent fixture amid ongoing speculation linking him with moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Everton. City remain in competition with Spurs for Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo, with Liverpool indicating they will only consider selling the Netherlands international after securing at least two new forwards, and would demand a substantial transfer fee.
Liverpool are reportedly close to agreeing on a £120 million deal for Bradley Barcola with Paris Saint-Germain, while negotiations for Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr appear complicated by high valuation. Everton’s manager, David Moyes, has confirmed that Manchester City have not submitted an official bid for Iliman Ndiaye, the Everton winger valued at approximately £80 million and contracted for three more years. Tottenham is also monitoring Ndiaye as a potential alternative should they fail to sign Gakpo.
In addition, Manchester United’s striker Joshua Zirkzee has drawn interest from Atletico Madrid, which is awaiting a decision from Arsenal target Julian Alvarez. The Spanish club has reportedly given Alvarez a deadline this week to decide whether to join Arsenal or remain at Atletico. Zirkzee has also received an offer from Fiorentina and remains on the radar of Juventus and Napoli. United midfielder Toby Collyer is set to transfer to West Bromwich Albion in a deal worth £3 million.
Elsewhere, AS Monaco continues its pursuit of Tottenham midfielder Pape Matar Sarr to potentially replace Lamine Camara, who is targeted by Chelsea. Nottingham Forest are also interested in Sarr as well as Corinthians midfielder Andre, while AC Milan has expressed interest in Forest’s Omari Hutchinson.
Crystal Palace has initiated talks to bolster their defense, enquiring about Udinese’s Oumar Solet following concerns arising from medical tests on Club Brugge centre back Joel Ordonez, which cast doubt on his potential signing. The Eagles are also among the clubs pursuing Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Hugo Larsson, aged 22, with Brighton also reportedly interested.
In transfer completions, Sheffield United have secured Southampton forward Ben Brereton Diaz on a season-long loan. The club is also working to bring in Joe Worrall on loan from Burnley, who in turn are looking to offload Hull City’s left back Ryan Giles.
