The 22nd edition of the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE) has officially launched Qatar’s tourism season, featuring over 49 exhibitors and showcasing approximately 500 brands. The event, held under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani, has introduced new designers, refreshed branding, and a partnership with the international auction house Christie’s.
Taking place in Doha, DJWE 2026 continues to serve as one of Qatar’s premier luxury events, bringing together established jewellery and watch brands alongside emerging creative talents. This year’s edition aims to provide visitors with an enhanced experience through a renewed visual identity and expanded offerings.
Jassim al-Mahmoud, director of public relations and communications at Visit Qatar, highlighted the significance of the exhibition in marking the start of the country’s tourism calendar. “We have more than 49 exhibitors, 500 brands, and some new artists who have joined us in this edition,” al-Mahmoud said, emphasizing the event’s role as a key attraction for tourists and residents alike.
A notable addition to DJWE 2026 is the collaboration with Christie’s, which is conducting specialized workshops alongside the exhibition. This partnership is intended to deepen the visitor experience by providing expert insights and interactive opportunities related to high-end jewellery and watches.
The annual event offers a wide selection of collections under one roof, enabling visitors to explore a variety of luxury items from internationally recognized houses as well as innovative newcomers to the industry. Al-Mahmoud encouraged attendees to take advantage of the diverse displays and find pieces matching their interests.
With its broadened brand presence, inclusion of fresh talent, and newly integrated experiences, the 22nd Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition is positioning itself not only as a luxury showcase but also as a prominent early feature of Qatar’s 2026 tourism season. Organizers anticipate strong visitor engagement, reflecting the country’s growing profile as a destination for high-end retail and cultural events.
