Raihan Vadra, artist and photographer and son of Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, has revealed that all 70 photographs from his exhibition, "No Idea Is Final," were ordered to be removed from Bikaner House in Delhi without any explanation. Vadra said he had cooperated fully with the venue’s policies, including selecting images in accordance with its guidelines on political content.

According to Vadra, the initial request involved removing only a few photographs, but no clear reasons were provided for the removal. “I said they could remove four or five photographs if necessary, provided they gave us a reason,” he stated, adding that instead, he was instructed to take down the entire collection. Vadra described the decision as unjust.

He also noted that Bikaner House officials directed him to remove two photographs of the Indian flag, known as the Tiranga. Vadra refused to comply, emphasizing his refusal to take down images of the national flag.

The exhibition had avoided political slogans and included few images of political leaders, Vadra stated, in an effort to adhere to the venue’s policies. Despite this, the complete removal of his displayed works was enforced without detailed justification. As of now, the official response from Bikaner House has not been publicly shared.
