A fund transfer ceremony for village development projects scheduled for the 2026-2027 fiscal year took place yesterday at the Department of Rural Development’s meeting hall in Aunglan Township, Magway Region. The event was organized by the Department of Rural Development in Aunglan District.

At the ceremony, District Head U Win Naing opened the proceedings with remarks outlining the significance of the projects. Daw Htar Htar Yi, Head of the Department of Rural Development in Aunglan Township, provided details on the procedures and implementation plans for each village development initiative.

As part of the event, officials transferred a total of K95 million to support the projects. Specifically, K50 million from the Model Village Project Fund and K30 million from the Rural Business Fund (RBF) Project Fund were allocated to the project working group of Maoogon Village. Additionally, K15 million was distributed to six other village project working groups participating in the Village Development Project (VDP).

The Department of Rural Development in Aunglan Township oversees the coordination and management of these efforts, which aim to promote sustainable development and improve living standards in local communities across the district.
