Bethany England has completed a move to Crystal Palace ahead of the upcoming Women's Super League (WSL) season, joining the newly promoted club on a free transfer from Tottenham Hotspur. The 32-year-old forward has signed a two-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional year.

England, who joined Tottenham from Chelsea in January 2023, is the club’s all-time leading scorer in the WSL, having netted 32 goals in league play during her tenure. She is also an experienced international, having contributed 11 goals in 26 appearances for England, including playing a role in the team's victory at Euro 2022.

Crystal Palace head coach Jo Potter expressed enthusiasm about the signing, highlighting England’s consistent goal-scoring record. “We are absolutely delighted to have Bethany here at Palace. She has scored goals wherever she has gone,” Potter said.

England's addition aims to bolster Crystal Palace’s attacking options as they prepare to compete in the WSL for the first time following their promotion. The club will be looking to leverage her experience both at the club and international levels to establish themselves in the top flight.
