More than 2,000 runners are expected to take part in the inaugural PSG QNB We Run Doha event, scheduled for October 30 at the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar. This event marks a new phase in the running initiative launched earlier this year by Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), offering participants a unique opportunity to run on a renowned Formula 1 motorsport venue.
PSG QNB We Run Doha is designed to be more than just a race, transforming the Lusail International Circuit into a vibrant community festival infused with PSG’s Rouge & Bleu identity. The event aims to combine the thrill of competing on a world-class racing circuit with an atmosphere of entertainment, social engagement, and fan experiences throughout the day.
Participants can choose from three race formats tailored to different age groups and abilities. The 10-kilometer race is geared towards those seeking a challenging run that balances speed and endurance, while the 5-kilometer race provides an accessible option for runners of all levels. For younger participants, a 1-kilometer Kids Race offers a fun and safe introduction to running, ending with a finish line on the Formula 1 circuit itself.
Event organizers highlight that the day will include a wide range of activities beyond the races, such as warm-up sessions, food and beverage areas, partner activations, and entertainment, creating a festival-like environment for both runners and spectators. The race’s official naming partner is QNB, while Lusail International Circuit serves as the official venue partner, underscoring the event’s connection to Qatar’s premier sporting sites.
Additional support comes from PSG’s official partners, including Qatar Airways, Visit Qatar, Ooredoo, Aspetar, and Whoop, alongside supporting partners Al Rayyan Water, the Qatar Sports Federation for All (QSFA), and Al Meera. These collaborators are set to enhance the participant experience with their expertise and services.
Competition will be central to the event, with male and female winners recognized in both the 5-kilometer and 10-kilometer categories. Winners will receive the opportunity to travel to Paris for a unique PSG experience, allowing them to continue their running journey in the club’s home city.
A special PSG guest is expected to attend, further enriching the event’s appeal. Organizers encourage runners and PSG fans to register online and follow the official We Run Paris social media channels for updates and announcements.
The PSG QNB We Run Doha is positioned as a significant step in PSG’s expansion of its global running initiatives. The club has also announced plans to resume the We Run Paris event in Spring 2027, with further details to be released in the coming months.
