Professional services firm PwC has announced plans to relocate its London headquarters to a new office space in Canary Wharf. The company will take up 350,000 square feet at One Eden, a 17-story building previously known as 33 Canada Square, which is set to undergo refurbishment prior to their move. The transition is scheduled for 2030.
PwC currently occupies offices at 1 Embankment Place near Charing Cross, which accommodate approximately 5,500 employees. The firm’s lease at this location is due to expire by the end of the decade. While the move to Canary Wharf will involve some staff relocation, PwC indicated that not all employees working at the Embankment Place site will transfer to the new premises.
Despite the change in location, PwC affirmed that London remains a central part of its operations and strategic focus. The move to Canary Wharf reflects the firm’s broader efforts to adapt its workplace footprint in line with evolving business needs and market conditions.
