Qatar Airways highlighted its latest innovations in premium travel and digital connectivity during the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The airline’s pavilion offered visitors an interactive experience showcasing technologies aimed at enhancing the traveler journey at every stage.
Attendees engaged with digital platforms developed by the carrier, including ‘Q Search’ and ‘Infinite Awards,’ as well as the airline’s first digital destination within the gaming environment Fortnite, known as ‘QVerse Island.’ These initiatives reflect Qatar Airways’ commitment to expanding its digital loyalty and customer engagement offerings.
On the sidelines of the event, Qatar Airways signed new memoranda of understanding with several tourism boards and organizations. These included the Kenya Tourism Board, Jordan Tourism Board, Sri Lanka Promotions Bureau, Tourism Malaysia, Visit Newport Beach, and Visit Maldives. The agreements aim to strengthen partnerships that promote travel through Qatar Airways’ Doha hub, Hamad International Airport, leveraging the airline’s extensive network to open new opportunities in key leisure markets.
Qatar Airways also emphasized its pioneering role in onboard connectivity within the Middle East and North Africa region. As the first airline in MENA to install Starlink internet service aboard its aircraft, Qatar Airways demonstrated its ongoing expansion of this program at ATM. The operator currently offers Starlink-enabled Wi-Fi on over 150 widebody aircraft, with approximately 340 flights daily equipped with the service. Since the initial rollout in October 2024, more than 25 million passengers have accessed rapid inflight internet over 96,000 flights, underscoring the airline’s efforts to deliver high-speed connectivity in the air.
The airline’s premium product, Qsuite Next Gen, was a key feature of the pavilion, allowing visitors to experience its enhanced design. The suites include 4K OLED adjustable in-flight entertainment screens and can be configured as private spaces for up to four people in the Quad Suite or two passengers in the Companion Suite. Additional features include adjustable privacy controls, digitally controlled personal dividers, and a ‘Make My Bed’ button activating a turn-down service to enhance onboard comfort.
Through its display at ATM 2026, Qatar Airways underscored its strategy to marry elevated luxury with digital innovation, aiming to deliver a seamless, connected experience that caters to modern travelers’ expectations.
