Qatar’s Candidate Training Center has graduated the 15th cohort of its Military Science Diploma program, marking the completion of a nine-month training course designed for university graduates. The ceremony took place under the patronage of Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs.
The event was attended by high-ranking military officials, including Lt Gen (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed al-Mannai, Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces. Also present were Major General (Pilot) Salem Abdullah al-Dosari, Deputy Chief of Staff for Education; Major General (Engineer/Air) Adel Hassan Fakhro, Chief of the Education Authority; Brigadier General (Dr) Mohammed Abdullah al-Henzab, Commander of the Candidate Training Center; and other senior officers from the armed forces.
The intensive programme aimed to enhance the combat and leadership skills of its participants through comprehensive military training, field exercises, awareness lectures, and joint drills with different units of the Qatar Armed Forces. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Chief of Staff presented graduation certificates to the successful candidates, formally recognizing their completion of the rigorous course.
This milestone reflects Qatar’s continued commitment to strengthening its military capabilities by developing qualified officers equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The Military Science Diploma initiative supports the armed forces’ strategic objectives to bolster operational readiness and leadership across all branches.
