The Old Doha Port is preparing to host the third edition of the Qatar Boat Show from November 4 to 7, transforming the historic harbour into a multifaceted maritime event that combines luxury yachts, advanced marine technology, and diverse entertainment. Organizers have completed preparations for the four-day exhibition, which aims to showcase both international and regional marine industries while celebrating Qatar’s seafaring heritage.
The event will feature an expanded international presence, with a notable 30% increase in participation from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) exhibitors compared to the previous year. Approximately 70% of exhibitors are returning, reflecting the show’s growing reputation on the international maritime calendar. Visitors will be able to explore six dedicated exhibition zones catering to a variety of interests, including luxury yachting, technological innovation, recreational fishing, and marine lifestyle products.
The Oceanic Display will present a collection of mega yachts, superyachts, and vessels longer than 15 meters, while the Shoreline Display—Qatar Boat Show’s largest outdoor area—will feature boats up to 35 feet in length along with marine lifestyle merchandise. The GCC Pavilion will emphasize the Gulf region’s maritime heritage and innovations, offering a platform for regional exhibitors to highlight their expertise and contributions to the sector.
For marine professionals and technology enthusiasts, Equip Pro will present the latest equipment, services, and technological advancements. Recreational fishing enthusiasts can explore Hooks & Reels, a dedicated area offering an extensive range of rods, reels, hooks, and premium fishing accessories.
The event also incorporates a significant cultural component, partnering with Qatar Creates and the Doha Film Institute to offer daily film screenings featuring works by Qatari and Qatar-based filmmakers. Evening programming aims to create a festive atmosphere with nightly fireworks, choreographed drone displays, pyrotechnics, live music, and waterfront dining experiences, enhancing the appeal for families and visitors seeking a broader entertainment experience alongside the maritime exhibits.
The Qatar Boat Show leverages the unique backdrop of Old Doha Port, a site deeply connected to Qatar’s maritime past, while underscoring the country’s ambitions to become a key destination for luxury yachting, marine innovation, and waterfront tourism. By integrating international participation, regional showcases, technological displays, cultural events, and entertainment, the 2026 edition seeks to extend its impact beyond a traditional boat exhibition and offer a comprehensive waterfront experience.
