Qatar Calendar Reveals Programme for First-Ever ‘Sneaker Con Doha’

Qatar Calendar has announced the inaugural Sneaker Con Doha, taking place from May 29 to 31 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, featuring zones for sneaker culture, live performances, sports competitions, and a marketplace with rare and limited-edition items. This event represents a major cultural gathering in Qatar, supported by partners like Redbull, and offers free entry with optional VIP packages, aiming to establish itself as a key fixture in the region's streetwear and entertainment scene.

Qatar Calendar has unveiled the program for the first-ever Sneaker Con Doha, scheduled to take place from May 29 to 31 at Hall 1 of the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC). The three-day event marks the debut of what organizers are calling “The Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth” in the Qatari capital, offering an extensive celebration of sneaker culture, streetwear, music, sports, and entertainment.

Covering over 7,000 square meters, Sneaker Con Doha will feature seven distinct zones designed to engage a diverse audience, including sneaker enthusiasts, collectors, families, and younger visitors. Key areas include a Kids Zone, Main Stage, Skater Park, DJ Booth, Basketball Court, graffiti art activations, and roaming entertainment spots. The event will deliver a lively atmosphere with daily live performances such as DJ sets, beatboxing, breakdance and hip-hop shows, live bands, mascot parades, and graffiti artists.

Sporting competitions will play a significant role as well, with basketball tournaments organized in partnership with the Qatar Basketball Federation. Attendees can also explore additional attractions like vintage car displays and various food and beverage kiosks scattered throughout the venue.

A major component of the event is the curated marketplace, which will bring together a range of global, regional, and local vendors offering rare sneakers, limited-edition releases, and streetwear collections. Sneaker Con Authenticated, an on-site sneaker verification service, will be available to attendees seeking to authenticate their items.

Complementing the entertainment and trade activities, the event will host daily panel discussions from 5:40 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. These sessions will feature regional and international speakers from the sneaker and streetwear industries, addressing topics including market trends, authentication processes, collecting culture, and the evolution of the global sneaker marketplace.

Entry to Sneaker Con Doha is free with pre-registration available through Platinumlist. For visitors seeking a premium experience, a VIP package is offered at QR500. This option includes access for two to a dedicated VIP Lounge, hospitality services, and support from trained personal shoppers.
