Qatar Tourism has announced a diverse lineup of events for September aimed at engaging residents and visitors through a broad spectrum of cultural, sporting, business, and entertainment activities across Doha and beyond.
The month-long calendar offers family-friendly attractions, including the ColorVerse Experience at Katara South Parking and the Virtuocity Battleground 2026 esports competition held at Virtuocity in Doha Festival City. On the coastal front, Fuwairit Kite Beach will host the Fuwairit Break, featuring various family-oriented activities designed to enliven the area’s atmosphere.
Sports programming remains a focal point, with the ongoing Beat the Heat fitness and race series taking place at multiple locations throughout the country. Qatar Foundation is set to host the FISU World University Championship Weightlifting 2026 in tandem with the Seashore Phoenix Games 2026, a fitness contest for male and female athletes held at Aspire Ladies Sports Hall. Meanwhile, the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex will serve as the venue for key international competitions, beginning with the Qterminals Qatar Classic Squash 2026, followed by the inaugural Qatar Asian Junior Tournament for players aged 14 and under.
Cultural and artistic offerings are rich and varied. The Doha Exhibition and Convention Center will open the Qatar Event Show 2026 and continue to host the Doha Trade Fair. The Museum of Islamic Art will feature two exhibitions focusing on Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage: “Uzbekistan: Heritage in Motion” and the “Ektashif Uzbekistan Exhibition.” Katara Cultural Village will present the tenth edition of S’hail, the Katara International Hunting and Falconry Exhibition. The Qatar National Convention Centre will host a series of musical and cultural events, including a performance titled “QPO Presents: Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No 1” and the “Qatar-Mexico Year of Culture: Sounds of Mexico.” Additionally, the Education City Students Center’s Multaqa program will hold the BilAraby Annual Gathering 2026.
In the business and technology arenas, several high-profile events are scheduled at prominent venues in Doha. The Autonomous e-Mobility Forum and the Google Cloud Summit Doha 2026 will take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre, while the Qatar Fintech Expo 2026 is slated for the Hilton Doha Hotel.
For those interested in luxury retail and craftsmanship, the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center will host the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2026. Concurrently, AlHazm Galleria will be the site of the ninth edition of the Zinatha Exhibition, showcasing upscale products and designs.
