Qatar Tourism has announced a diverse schedule of events for September as part of the Qatar Calendar programme, offering a wide range of activities across Doha and other parts of the country. The lineup aims to cater to residents and visitors with interests spanning entertainment, culture, sports, arts, shopping, business, and technology.
Family-friendly events will feature prominently throughout the month. The ColorVerse Experience will be available at Katara South Parking, while Virtuocity Festival City will host Virtuocity Battleground 2026, a major attraction for gaming enthusiasts. Fuwairit Kite Beach will also be transformed into a lively hub with the Fuwairit Break, providing activities suitable for all ages.
Sports enthusiasts have a variety of competitions and fitness events to anticipate. The ongoing Beat the Heat summer fitness and race series will continue at various locations. The Aspire Ladies Sports Hall is scheduled to host the FISU World University Championship Weightlifting 2026, concurrently with the Seashore Phoenix Games 2026, a fitness competition featuring both male and female athletes. Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex will welcome a range of international tournaments, beginning with the Qterminals Qatar Classic Squash 2026, followed by the first Qatar Asian Junior Tournament for players aged 14 and under.
Cultural and artistic offerings are set to be rich and varied. The Doha Exhibition and Convention Center will open the Qatar Event Show 2026 and continue to host the Doha Trade Fair. The Museum of Islamic Art will present two exhibitions focusing on Uzbekistan’s heritage: “Uzbekistan: Heritage in Motion” and the “Ektashif Uzbekistan Exhibition.” Katara Cultural Village will hold the tenth edition of S’hail - Katara International Hunting and Falconry Exhibition. The Qatar National Convention Centre will feature cultural and musical highlights, including “QPO Presents: Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No 1” and “Sounds of Mexico,” part of the Qatar-Mexico Year of Culture. Additionally, the Education City Students Center’s Multaqa will host the BilAraby Annual Gathering 2026.
On the business and technology front, Doha will host the Autonomous e-Mobility Forum and the Google Cloud Summit 2026, both at the Qatar National Convention Centre. The Qatar Fintech Expo 2026 is scheduled to take place at the Hilton Doha Hotel.
For enthusiasts of luxury shopping and design, the prestigious Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2026 will open at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Meanwhile, AlHazm Galleria will host the ninth edition of the Zinatha Exhibition, showcasing upscale products and craftsmanship.
With this broad spectrum of activities, Qatar’s September calendar aims to engage diverse audiences and promote cultural exchange, sporting excellence, and business innovation throughout its venues.
