The food aid included packages containing staple items such as ready-to-eat products, biscuits, dried fruits, beaten rice, and oral rehydration salts. In total, aid reached 1,240 families, or approximately 5,419 individuals. Hygiene assistance was provided to 130 families (around 568 people) and included bathing soap, sanitary pads, laundry soap, nail cutters, towels, buckets, mugs, slippers, and water purification tablets.

Emergency shelter support was extended to an additional 130 families, also benefiting about 568 people. This aid consisted of tarpaulin sheets for temporary housing, ropes, blankets, sleeping mattresses, and solar-powered lamps.

All relief supplies were handed over to representatives of the District Office Administration (DOA) in Nuwakot District to ensure distribution followed the Government of Nepal’s “One Door Policy.” This approach aims to facilitate effective coordination and timely delivery of aid to affected households.

On the ground, Qatar Charity’s team conducted coordination meetings with local authorities and carried out field visits, noting extensive damage to infrastructure, including roads, buildings, and several collapsed bridges.
