Qatar Charity inaugurated two development projects in Kegeti village, located in the Chuy District of Kyrgyzstan’s Chuy Region, aiming to enhance both healthcare access and community facilities. The openings took place with the participation of government officials and local authority representatives.

The initiatives consist of a new health centre spanning 175 square meters and an 80-square-meter mosque. These projects are part of Qatar Charity’s broader mission to support critical sectors and improve services for vulnerable populations.

The health centre is designed to boost local healthcare capacity and is expected to serve around 10,000 residents of Kegeti and surrounding areas. It will offer primary healthcare services, medical consultations, and essential health support, allowing community members to obtain treatment more conveniently without traveling to distant facilities.

Alongside the health centre, the mosque will provide a dedicated venue for worship and religious activities. It aims to foster Islamic values, strengthen social bonds, and enhance community cohesion in the village.

Together, these projects present an integrated approach addressing both the practical healthcare needs and spiritual dimensions of the local population, reflecting Qatar Charity’s focus on comprehensive community development in Kyrgyzstan.
