The State of Qatar strongly condemned a recent bombing targeting a cafe near the Palace of Justice in Damascus, Syria, which resulted in casualties. In a statement issued Thursday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the country’s firm opposition to all forms of violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of their motives or origins.

Qatar expressed its condolences to the families of those affected, as well as to the Syrian government and people, and extended wishes for a swift recovery to the injured. The Ministry’s statement emphasized Qatar’s stance against such attacks that undermine security and stability in the region.
