The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of recent attacks it attributes to the Islamic Republic of Iran against the territories of Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait. In a statement released on Wednesday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the assaults as clear violations of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the affected countries, as well as breaches of international law and the principles outlined in the United Nations Charter.

Qatar characterized the renewed Iranian actions as a dangerous escalation that risks undermining efforts to de-escalate tensions and threatens ongoing diplomatic and political initiatives aimed at restoring security and stability across the region. The ministry explicitly held Iran fully and legally responsible for the attacks.

Affirming its solidarity with Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, Qatar pledged support for all legitimate measures these countries undertake to protect their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. The statement called for an immediate and complete cessation of all military activities and attacks that jeopardize regional stability.

Furthermore, Qatar urged all parties involved to refrain from actions that could broaden the conflict and to recommit to dialogue, negotiations, and adherence to previously reached diplomatic understandings. The call reflects concerns over the potential for further escalation amid already heightened tensions in the Middle East.
