A delegation from the State of Qatar attended a memorial event commemorating victims of the genocide against the Palestinian people, with a particular focus on those in the Gaza Strip. The ceremony was organized by the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, in coordination with the Permanent Mission of the State of Palestine to the League.

The Qatari delegation was led by Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulrahman bin Mohammed al-Thani, who serves as both the ambassador of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt and the country’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League. The event underscored ongoing regional concerns regarding the humanitarian situation faced by Palestinians and aimed to highlight the plight of those affected by recent conflicts.
