The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the recent attacks by Iran targeting Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, describing them as serious violations of sovereignty and international law. In a statement released Saturday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs characterized the assaults as deliberate breaches of the territorial integrity of the affected countries and inconsistent with the principles outlined in the United Nations Charter.

The ministry specifically highlighted attacks on electricity and water desalination facilities in Kuwait, labeling these actions as crossing all red lines and referencing UN Security Council Resolution 2817. This resolution underscores respect for national sovereignty and prohibits attacks on civilian infrastructure. Qatar emphasized that such targeting of vital installations not only endangers civilians but also violates established international norms.

Qatar cautioned that the ongoing military actions represent a dangerous escalation, which could further destabilize the already fragile security environment in the region. The statement warned that these developments might undermine diplomatic initiatives and hinder efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability across the Middle East.

Calling for an immediate halt to hostilities, the ministry urged all parties to refrain from actions that could exacerbate tensions. It emphasized the importance of renewing genuine dialogue and negotiations to resolve conflicts peacefully.
