Qatar’s men’s beach volleyball team continued its strong start at the inaugural West Asia Beach Volleyball Tour in Amman, Jordan, securing a second consecutive win by defeating Iraq 2-1 on Monday. The Qatari pairing of Musa Al Khair and Mohammed Ehab overcame a first-set loss to claim victory.
After dropping the opening set 15-21, the Qatari duo rebounded decisively, taking the second set 21-11 and then dominating the third set with a 15-5 scoreline. This victory extended Qatar’s unbeaten record in the tournament.
Qatar had previously opened the competition with a straight-sets win over Saudi Arabia, defeating the team 25-13, 21-10. The West Asia Beach Volleyball Tour marks a significant regional event, bringing together teams from across the area to compete in a developing sport. The tournament’s continuation showcases growing interest and investment in beach volleyball throughout West Asia.
