Qatar took part in the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum 2026, held on Thursday in Lianyungang, China. The Qatari delegation was led by HE Sheikh Nayef bin Faleh bin Saud Al Thani, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs.

Qatar’s involvement in the forum aligns with its objectives to strengthen international collaboration in security matters, share expertise, and adopt global best practices related to public safety and security. The forum provided a platform for exchanging insights and fostering cooperative efforts among participating countries and organizations.

In addition to attending the main sessions, the Qatari delegation toured an accompanying security exhibition. This event showcased the latest developments in security technology and innovation, highlighting advanced solutions designed to support security operations and improve the effectiveness of public safety systems. The visit allowed Qatar to explore new tools and approaches that could enhance its domestic security infrastructure and operational capabilities.
