The Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Center inaugurated a stamp exhibition focused on “Food and Nutrition” on October 31, 2026, in conjunction with the 11th edition of Qatar Sustainability Week (QSW). The event is taking place at the Ministry of Culture headquarters and will remain open to visitors through November 7.

The exhibition features six glass display cases, each containing eight panels of stamps. These collections highlight various aspects of food preservation, healthy nutrition, and related sustainability themes. By presenting the topic through philately, the exhibition seeks to raise public awareness about the importance of maintaining sustainable food practices and promoting nutrition that supports overall well-being.

Organizers emphasize that the display not only celebrates the artistic and cultural value of stamps but also underscores practical and innovative approaches to sustainability. The presentation is intended to engage both general visitors and specialized collectors of stamps and coins.

The exhibition aligns with the broader objectives of Qatar Sustainability Week, which aims to foster environmental and social responsibility across diverse sectors. Attendees can view the collection during the Ministry of Culture’s standard working hours.
