A six-year-old Indian expatriate residing in Qatar has achieved recognition from five international record organizations for his acrylic painting, marking a notable milestone for young artists in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Al-Ameen bin Ahammed Danish, a Grade 2 student at Scholars’ International School, created a 20x20 acrylic canvas painting that earned certifications from the India Book of Records, International Book of Records, Kalam’s World Records, Worldwide Book of Records, and Noble World Records.

Al-Ameen’s accomplishment is believed to be the first of its kind for a child of his age and category in the GCC. The young artist described his work as conveying a story about peace and vibrant colors, highlighting the sky in particular as his favorite element. The recognition has left him feeling proud and happy, as well as grateful to his parents and teachers for their support.

His parents, Ahammed Danish and Raniya Abdul Samad, who hail from Perambra in Kerala’s Kozhikode district, shared that Al-Ameen’s interest in art emerged at a very young age. They have emphasized nurturing his creativity by making painting an enjoyable activity rather than a chore. Both parents are professionals based in Qatar—his father with Qatar Airways and his mother at Military Medical City Hospital in Doha.

The family credits Al-Ameen’s school and the broader Qatari community for fostering a supportive environment that enables young talents to flourish. They expressed hope that his achievement will motivate other children to follow their passions regardless of age.

Plans are underway to explore opportunities for exhibiting Al-Ameen’s artwork and leveraging it for charitable and community initiatives. While the multiple record certifications officially document his artistic feat, the larger message shared by the family and the young artist is the importance of providing children with encouragement, freedom, and joy to create meaningful work from an early age.
