Qatar has condemned recent attacks attributed to Iran targeting Bahrain and Kuwait, describing them as clear violations of the countries' sovereignty and breaches of international law. The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the acts and calling for restraint to avoid further regional escalation. The statement emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue and diplomacy to preserve stability and build on existing agreements designed to enhance security within the Gulf region.

The statement comes amid heightened tensions following several incidents involving missile and drone strikes. Among the attacks cited were assaults on a Qatari liquefied natural gas tanker, Al Rekayyat, and the Saudi crude oil tanker Wadiyan, which regional actors have linked to Iran.

In addition to Qatar’s denunciation, Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy reiterated the organization’s firm rejection of these attacks and underscored the need for restraint. Similarly, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi also condemned the repeated Iranian strikes directed at Bahrain and Kuwait.
