Qatar and Tanzania have formalized an agreement aimed at enhancing collaboration in emergency response services. On September 28, 2026, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed al-Thani, Qatar’s Minister of State for Interior Affairs, met with Patrobas Paschal Katambi, Tanzania’s Minister of Home Affairs, to discuss opportunities for mutual cooperation.

The two officials explored ways to strengthen ties and expand joint efforts in areas of shared interest. Their discussions culminated in the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) focused on fire suppression, rescue operations, and emergency medical services.
