This visit was part of a series of engagements with key regional players, including officials from Oman and Pakistan, aimed at reviving diplomatic efforts and resolving the crisis. Consultations between Qatar, Oman, Pakistan, and other mediation partners remain active as part of coordinated efforts to revive political dialogue.
A key issue concerns the Strait of Hormuz, a critical maritime passageway central to global energy supplies. Qatar has stressed the dangerous consequences of treating any closure of the strait as permanent, warning that such a scenario could provoke further regional instability.
