Qatar’s men’s swimming team advanced to the final round of the 4x200-meter freestyle relay after recording a time of 7 minutes, 24.10 seconds in the preliminary heats. The quartet, composed of Ali Tamer, Mohamed Mahmoud, Saad El Din Saad El Din, and Emile Fouzai, improved their performance in the final by finishing sixth with a time of 7 minutes, 20.25 seconds.

The event showcased the team’s competitive progress, as they managed to lower their time by nearly four seconds between the heats and the final. The swimmers’ efforts highlighted Qatar’s growing presence in regional swimming competitions.

Looking ahead, members of the Qatari swimming squad are scheduled to compete in the 1500-meter individual race and the 4x100-meter relay, both set to take place on Tuesday. These events are expected to further test the endurance and speed of the team as they continue their campaign.
