Qatar Chamber recently wrapped up its international training programme titled "Professional in Corporate Social Responsibility," conducted in partnership with the Regional Network for Consulting, a member of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility. The virtual course brought together participants from various government and private sector entities across Qatar, alongside representatives from Arab institutions and organizations.

The sessions were led by Professor Dr. Ali Al Ibrahim, a noted expert in corporate social responsibility (CSR). The programme aimed to equip attendees with enhanced skills and comprehensive knowledge on managing and implementing CSR initiatives, employing professional methodologies designed to strengthen these efforts.

Fatima Issa Al-Kuwari, Head of Training and Development at Qatar Chamber, underlined the organisation’s dedication to delivering quality training that prepares specialists in emerging professional areas such as corporate social responsibility. She highlighted the growing significance of CSR, noting an increasing number of institutions establishing dedicated units to oversee CSR activities within their organizational frameworks.

The initiative aligns with Qatar Chamber’s broader commitment to developing human capital and fostering awareness about the strategic role CSR plays in sustainable development. According to Al-Kuwari, embedding CSR as a fundamental element helps institutions enhance their societal contributions and supports long-term community welfare objectives.
