The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) has closed additional travel and air cargo agencies for non-compliance, bringing the total number of such closures to 17 since the launch of its inspection campaigns. These actions are part of the authority’s ongoing effort to enforce compliance with licensing requirements and regulatory standards outlined in Law No. (3) of 2025.

The QCAA’s Air Transport Department is conducting systematic inspections of agencies involved in travel and air cargo operations to ensure adherence to the legal framework governing the air transport sector. The authority emphasized the importance of obtaining the necessary licenses before engaging in any travel or cargo-related business activities.

These measures aim to reinforce oversight and regulate Qatar's air transport industry more rigorously, safeguarding operational standards and protecting consumers. The QCAA has called on all relevant agencies to fully comply with the applicable laws to avoid further enforcement actions.
