The Academic Bridge Programme (ABP), a division of Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education, will host the Harvard Model Congress Middle East 2027 from January 14 to 16 at Education City in Doha. This event follows the successful launch of the inaugural Qatar edition of the conference in 2026.

Early registration for the conference is currently open and will remain so until August 15, 2026. Interested participants can register and find more information through the event’s official website.

The 2027 conference will be held under the theme “Progress Under Pressure,” aiming to immerse high school students in the roles of policymakers and diplomats. Attendees will engage in debates and simulations addressing pressing international issues, encouraging the development of innovative approaches and practical solutions to global challenges.

Organized by Harvard University, the Harvard Model Congress Middle East provides students from Qatar and around the world with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of government, public policy, and international relations. The event features legislative committee simulations, debates, and negotiations that mirror real-world political processes.

In addition to committee work, participants will attend workshops, seminars, and leadership activities designed to enhance critical thinking, public speaking, and negotiation skills. The conference also emphasizes leadership development and fosters connections among students globally, supporting the growth of future leaders equipped to navigate complex international environments.
