Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education sector, through its Education Development Institute, hosted the Teaching and Learning Forum 2026, gathering nearly 2,000 educators from across Qatar to focus on advancing professional development and innovative teaching practices. The event, held under the theme "Teaching with Purpose: Rooted in Culture and Values, Shaping the Future," aimed to strengthen educators’ roles in improving learning experiences and preparing students for the future.

The forum featured 28 specialized workshops led by experts and education practitioners from Qatar Foundation and local schools. Sessions addressed a wide range of topics, including innovative instructional approaches, integration of technology in the classroom, assessment strategies, and methods to enhance student engagement. These workshops also highlighted successful educational practices designed to improve both teaching quality and student outcomes.

An inspirational keynote address underscored the importance of purposeful teaching and its influence on the future landscape of education. The event provided a platform for educators to exchange expertise, discuss challenges, and explore novel solutions, while emphasizing the integration of cultural values in teaching and the promotion of lifelong learning as essential to professional growth.
