Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) and The Group Securities have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing digital investment services and fostering closer collaboration between the two financial institutions. The agreement was formalized at The Group Securities’ headquarters in Doha, with Hamad bin Khalaf Al Moudadi, chairman of The Group Securities, and Dr Abdulbasit Ahmad Al Shaibei, chief executive officer of QIIB, present along with senior officials from both entities.
The MoU seeks to strengthen connectivity between banking and capital-market services by enabling customers to access a broader range of reciprocal services and advanced digital tools. This integration is designed to improve efficiency, convenience, and accessibility for investors, in line with efforts to develop Qatar’s financial and investment ecosystem.
