Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) has been honored with Citibank New York’s 2026 Straight Through Processing (STP) Excellence Award for its international payments operations, marking another milestone in the bank's operational achievements. The ceremony took place at QIIB’s headquarters, where Mohammed Khair Barhoumeh, the bank’s Chief Operating Officer, accepted the award from Seemanti Considine, Citibank’s Head of Financial Institutions Sales for the Middle East. The event was also attended by Najeeb Ahmed Nasiruddin, Head of Payments and International Operations at QIIB, alongside senior representatives from Citibank.
