The Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) is participating as a media partner in the second BilAraby Annual Gathering 2026, an initiative organized by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF). The event began Saturday at the Student Center in Education City and will run for two days under the theme "With Our Ideas, We Build."

QMC’s involvement reflects its ongoing commitment to promoting the Arabic language within media and knowledge sectors. By supporting initiatives like the BilAraby forum, the Corporation aims to enhance the presence and use of Arabic in professional and academic fields, while extending the reach of the forum’s message and objectives.

At the gathering, QMC has dedicated a pavilion to showcase its “Media Encyclopedia,” a specialized knowledge project designed to offer comprehensive Arabic content on media-related concepts, terminology, theories, as well as profiles of influential media figures and institutions. The encyclopedia adopts an academic approach, linking media knowledge with its intellectual and historical contexts, and is intended to serve as a reference for media professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts.

Ali Issa, an official spokesperson for Qatar Media Corporation, highlighted that the media partnership with the BilAraby forum aligns with QMC’s broader goal of reinforcing Arabic language usage in media and expanding its application across various knowledge-based disciplines. He stressed the Corporation’s dedication to enriching Arabic media content through projects such as the Media Encyclopedia, which aims to document and present media concepts in an academically rigorous format to support users engaged in media studies and practice.
