Qatar News Agency (QNA) initiated a three-day training course on website content management and audience engagement starting Tuesday as part of its 2026 training program. The course, organised by the QNA Training Centre, brought together agency staff alongside personnel from various government entities.
Led by Siraj Muneer al-Sawabni, senior monitoring supervisor at QNA’s Editorial and Media Monitoring Department, the program focused on equipping participants with skills to manage and optimise website content more effectively. Key topics included improving the quality of published materials and enhancing the presentation of content to better serve readers and subscribers.
The training also emphasised expanding audience reach through improving search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques. Additionally, it introduced strategies tailored to increase visibility on generative artificial intelligence search platforms by applying generative engine optimisation (GEO).
This initiative reflects QNA’s broader efforts to enhance media competencies among its staff and employees in governmental institutions. By fostering professional development in modern media practices and remaining current with global trends, QNA aims to strengthen the creative and operational capacities of its personnel. The agency anticipates that participants will leverage the acquired knowledge and skills to perform their duties more efficiently and contribute to the advancement of media content delivery across Qatar’s government sector.
