Among the leading contenders are father and daughter duo Andrew and Molly, who have advanced to second place while maintaining a substantial remaining budget. They have traversed over 12,000 kilometers so far and face approximately 950 kilometers left to reach the finish.

Starting the last segment in pole position are best friends Jo and Kush from Liverpool, who currently hold the lead. Siblings Katie and Harrison, along with in-laws Mark and Margo, are also actively competing and remain in close contention.
