Four people were injured during an altercation at ComplexCon in downtown Los Angeles on October 3, including rapper Lucki, according to police and video footage circulated on social media. Authorities responded to reports of a multi-person fight near Chick Hearn Court and Georgia Street around 4:45 p.m., where officers found individuals still engaged in physical conflict.
Los Angeles Police Department officials confirmed that two individuals were hospitalized with injuries consistent with a knife attack. A third person received treatment for a severe laceration, while a fourth sustained a cut to the elbow but declined medical care at the scene. It remains unclear whether the latter sought further treatment afterward.
Video clips shared on platforms such as X and TikTok showed a chaotic scene outside the L.A. Convention Center, where Lucki, 30, appeared to be involved in the fight. One clip depicted a bloodied man holding a towel to his neck as bystanders called for medical assistance. Additional footage showed Lucki appearing visibly shaken and climbing into the back seat of a black vehicle, with a visible wound near his jaw.
Though police did not officially confirm the rapper’s involvement, TMZ reported that Lucki was allegedly confronted by a suspect while taking photos with fans. The suspect reportedly struck him on the side of his face, causing a laceration.
Prior to the incident, Lucki had posted to Instagram expressing his enthusiasm about attending the event. ComplexCon organizers acknowledged the incident in a statement to media, emphasizing their commitment to safety and security and stating that they were aware of the situation and treating it with utmost seriousness.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fight and the identities of all involved parties.
