During the first three days of September, Kuwait’s real estate sector saw a total of 72 contracts valued at approximately KD 48.9 million ($161.4 million), according to data released Tuesday by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice.
Private property transactions dominated activity, with 54 contracts totaling around KD 18.2 million ($60 million). Investment properties followed with 16 contracts worth about KD 29.5 million ($97.4 million). Among other categories, a single commercial property contract was recorded at KD 17,000 ($56,000), and a coastal strip property transaction was valued at KD 1.2 million ($4 million).
Geographically, the Capital Governorate recorded four private property contracts. Meanwhile, Hawally witnessed 13 property deals, consisting of eight private property contracts and five investment property contracts.
These figures reflect the early-month pace of real estate trading, highlighting continued activity in both residential and investment sectors across Kuwait.
