Manchester City also appear confident in their midfield succession plans. They recently signed 23-year-old Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest for £116 million, viewing him as a long-term replacement for Rodri. Anderson’s arrival underlines City’s strategy to invest heavily in youth to maintain competitiveness in coming seasons.
