Redditch United secured a 3-0 victory to advance to the third qualifying round for the first time since 2010. The decisive goals occurred in the first half at their home ground, where Szhem Whyte-Hall, Alex Foreshaw, and Danny King each found the net to establish control early in the match.

The home side started strongly, breaking the deadlock in the 12th minute when Whyte-Hall headed a precise cross from Harrison Hazard into the bottom corner. The visitors registered their first shot on target shortly afterward, with Kai Churchley firing a left-footed attempt from the edge of the penalty area that was comfortably saved by Redditch’s goalkeeper, Rory Brown.

However, the visitors continued to come under pressure, as Redditch’s goalkeeper Oscar Varney made a key one-handed save in the 13th minute to deny Tyler Bruck. The hosts doubled their lead just before halftime when central defender Alex Foreshaw capitalized on another well-delivered Hazard set-piece, tapping the ball into the net in the 41st minute.

Redditch sought to extend their advantage before the break, but Varney showcased his agility with acrobatic saves against Hazard and Will Fielding. In stoppage time, Hazard once again provided a precise corner, which Danny King successfully converted to make it 3-0 going into halftime.

The second half saw the visitors attempt to mount a comeback, with Ioan Richards making a crucial clearance off the line following a Fielding shot. Despite these efforts, Redditch held firm to secure a comprehensive win and progress to the next stage of the competition.
