Three people were killed and seven others injured, some critically, in a shooting at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho, on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

Responding officers discovered the suspected gunman’s body near the restaurant, according to Josh Palmer, the city’s public information officer. It was not immediately clear whether the suspect was counted among the fatalities.

Officials are still in the process of notifying the families of the victims and have not released further details about those affected, including their identities or ages. Several of the injured remain in critical condition as investigations continue.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting and the motive behind the incident have not yet been disclosed by law enforcement. Authorities are expected to provide additional information as the inquiry progresses.
