Richard Hammond and his estranged wife, Mindy Hammond, are set to dissolve their jointly owned television production company as they move forward with their divorce after 23 years of marriage. The couple’s firm, Hamster’s Wheel Productions, known for producing shows such as the BBC children’s gameshow Blast Lab and the climate documentary series Wild Weather, is being wound down.
According to a Declaration of Solvency filed with Companies House, the company holds approximately £2.3 million in cash and has outstanding receivables totaling £1.45 million, alongside a tax refund claim of £176,573. The winding-up process follows the couple’s separation last year and appears to be a part of the broader financial arrangements linked to their divorce.
Hamster’s Wheel Productions has been instrumental in supporting Hammond’s broadcasting career, particularly in television projects outside his well-known presenting roles on shows like Grand Tour. The company’s closure marks the end of this professional partnership between the former spouses as they finalize their personal separation.
