Ring has introduced a new lineup of battery-powered video doorbells and a Spotlight Cam in the United Arab Emirates, featuring enhanced video resolution and improved power options. The company’s latest offerings include both 2K and 4K video models, with prices starting at 249 dirhams.

At the top of the range is the Battery Video Doorbell Pro (2nd Gen), priced at 999 dirhams. This model provides 4K video quality and a zoom capability enhanced up to 10 times. It also incorporates a redesigned battery that charges faster and allows for installation without the need for preexisting doorbell wiring, offering greater flexibility for homeowners.

For consumers seeking more budget-friendly options, Ring has launched three 2K video doorbell models. The Battery Video Doorbell Plus (2nd Gen), available for 699 dirhams, features a removable battery pack to facilitate easier recharging. The standard Battery Video Doorbell (2nd Gen), retailing at 399 dirhams, delivers up to 6x zoom on video footage. A wired version priced at 249 dirhams is aimed at residences with existing doorbell wiring.

To complement the new battery-powered doorbells, Ring is rolling out a solar charger compatible with its three latest models. This accessory is designed to allow the devices to be installed in a wider range of locations while maintaining continuous power supply.

Additionally, Ring’s Spotlight Cam (2nd Gen) has been released, offering 2K video resolution alongside a 550-lumen spotlight and a dual-battery configuration. The device is available in both battery-powered and plug-in versions, each priced at 699 dirhams.

All the new Ring devices come with a free trial of Ring Pro, a subscription service that provides advanced features such as video descriptions, natural language search capabilities, reduced duplicate alerts, and up to 180 days of stored video history. Ring stated that these enhancements aim to help users more efficiently monitor activity around their homes without needing to review every recording manually.
