Logan Alexander Cudarans, a 30-year-old rapper from Willaston known professionally as “SkuX,” has been granted home-detention bail again after being accused of breaching strict bail conditions. The matter was addressed at the Elizabeth Magistrates Court via video link from the Elizabeth Police Station on Thursday.

Mr. Cudarans is currently facing multiple charges, including aggravated robbery, assault, and possession of a prohibited weapon. The aggravated robbery charges stem from incidents in April, where he was alleged to have committed several thefts at gunpoint while traveling on a hired e-scooter through Gawler and Willaston. Despite these serious accusations, no trial date has been set yet for those charges.

In July, Mr. Cudarans faced additional matters relating to assault and prohibited weapon possession. During this time, he was also arrested and charged with breaching his bail conditions, allegations that prompted the recent court appearance. Prosecutors claim that Mr. Cudarans violated the terms of a pass-out granted for the Willaston football oval. Instead, he reportedly visited various locations including the carparks of Big W, Woolworths, Aldi, and McDonald’s in Gawler, traveling approximately three to four kilometres from his home, which was not authorized. Additionally, he was accused of failing to attend a scheduled supervision on October 6.

In response, defense counsel described the breach as minor and highlighted that it was the first since Mr. Cudarans was granted bail nearly six months earlier. Counsel also noted that Mr. Cudarans intended to provide evidence via email to the Department of Correctional Services explaining his whereabouts at the time of the breach, suggesting it should be considered a positive step. The lawyer urged the magistrate to give Mr. Cudarans the benefit of the doubt, emphasizing the low-level nature of the alleged breach.

Magistrate Edward Stratton-Smith ultimately allowed Mr. Cudarans to remain on home detention bail, with the understanding that he will return to court in November to face the full range of charges.

Since 2024, Mr. Cudarans has gained a significant following in Australia’s rap and hip-hop community. His social media presence includes more than 60,000 TikTok followers and music videos that often exceed one million views on YouTube, highlighting his rising profile despite the ongoing legal proceedings.
