KUWAIT CITY — The General Traffic Department has confirmed a temporary closure affecting King Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud Road (Riyadh Road) near Khaitan, with lane restrictions scheduled to remain in place until late July. Starting Wednesday, June 24, both the fast lane and the middle lane on Riyadh Road, in the direction toward Kuwait International Airport, will be closed. These restrictions are expected to last until Wednesday, July 29.
The department also announced the reopening of the entrance to Abu Dhabi Street from Riyadh Road, leading toward Khaitan, Block 3. The measures are part of ongoing traffic management efforts aimed at facilitating roadworks or improvements in this busy area.
Commuters using this route are advised to plan accordingly and monitor traffic updates as the lane closures may impact travel times during the ongoing period.
