British singer Robbie Williams has revealed that he has recently been diagnosed with autism, adding to a previous diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) made more than 20 years ago. The 52-year-old artist described the new diagnosis as a relief, saying it helped explain many aspects of his behavior.

Williams, known for hits such as "Angels," discussed his diagnosis during a question-and-answer session at the autumn/winter launch event for his clothing brand, Hopium. He noted that while his ADHD allows him to focus intensely on certain tasks, he often struggles with concentration in other areas. He also commented on how the autism diagnosis provided him with what he called a "get-out-of-jail-free card" to better understand and explain his unique behaviors.

In the same discussion, Williams shared a glimpse of his thought processes, mentioning intrusive thoughts he experiences, including an imaginative scenario involving telekinesis on a plane. This candid admission highlighted the complexity of his mental experiences.

Williams had previously told fans he believed he also had Tourette’s syndrome, although this has not been formally confirmed. His openness about his neurodivergent traits reflects a growing trend among public figures to raise awareness and reduce stigma surrounding such conditions.
