Aberdeen manager Stephen Robinson has indicated that defenders Nicolas Milanovic and Alexander Jensen are set to leave the club imminently. Discussions are underway with interested parties as both players have fallen out of favor at Pittodrie.

Milanovic is reportedly attracting interest from his former club Western Sydney Wanderers, while Jensen is linked with Swedish side Elfsborg. Both transfers are expected to involve six-figure fees. Robinson confirmed that Milanovic’s departure is likely within the next 24 hours, adding that honesty with players remains a priority in the club’s dealings.

“I believe it hasn’t quite worked for Nicolas so far at Aberdeen,” Robinson said, noting that Jensen’s exit could follow within 24 to 48 hours. While Jensen did not accompany the squad to their training camp in the Netherlands, Milanovic remains with the group.

Jensen, a Scottish Cup winner with Aberdeen, is expected to return to Sweden where he previously made an impact with Brommapojkarna. Meanwhile, Aberdeen stand to benefit financially from a sell-on clause linked to striker Duk’s recent transfer. Duk, who moved from Spanish club Leganés to Mexican side Atlas this week, was initially sold by Aberdeen last year with a five percent sell-on fee included in the deal.

The club has not disclosed the exact terms of either Milanovic or Jensen’s transfers, but the impending moves reflect a reshaping of the squad ahead of the new season.
