Actor Robert Pattinson has commended filmmaker Steven Soderbergh for stepping in to assist with the production of DC Studios’ “The Batman Part II.” Soderbergh took over directing duties on set in London after director Matt Reeves temporarily stepped away to address a family matter in Los Angeles. Reeves continues to be involved in the project.

Speaking during a promotional appearance for his latest film, “Primetime,” Pattinson described Soderbergh’s involvement as “incredibly generous” and characterized his contribution as both selfless and supportive. Pattinson expressed appreciation for Soderbergh’s willingness to help, noting that he was handling the role in a positive and considerate manner.

The transition came as Reeves balanced personal commitments but maintained oversight of the sequel’s production. Soderbergh’s presence on set has allowed filming to continue smoothly while Reeves tends to his family situation.
