Rosa Park, the gallerist known for founding Francis Gallery, has recently relocated to Los Angeles from Bath, England, with her husband, photographer Rich Stapleton, and their young son, Turner. Born in Seoul and raised in Vancouver, Park spent over a decade living in England before making the move to the United States.

Francis Gallery, which Park established in 2018, now operates from a tranquil venue in West Hollywood designed by the local firm Office of BC. Park described the space as intended to evoke a "temple" or "place of worship," featuring a courtyard inspired by traditional Korean outdoor architecture. In conjunction with the recent Frieze Seoul art fair, the gallery also showcased artworks within a restored hanok, a traditional Korean house, highlighting her cultural heritage.

Park noted that family life in Los Angeles includes routine weekend visits to the local farmer’s market, which she praised for its fresh produce. Evenings often involve trips to Awan Ice Cream on Huntley Drive, known for its vegan Indonesian ice creams available in a range of unusual flavors.

Besides the culinary aspects, Park emphasized the positive influence of Los Angeles’s climate and geography on lifestyle, saying the city encourages outdoor activities and promotes a healthier way of living. The combination of cultural offerings and environment appears to be central to the family’s experience since relocating.
