Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will reinstate four dedicated bus routes linking Global Village to key transportation hubs across the emirate, coinciding with the attraction’s 31st season launch on October 14, 2026. The season is scheduled to run through May 2027.
The RTA announced that the new services aim to facilitate easier access to Global Village for both residents and visitors, particularly those relying on public transportation. The four direct routes will operate from prominent bus stations: Al Rashidiya, Union, Al Ghubaiba, and Mall of the Emirates.
Buses on Route 102 will run hourly between Al Rashidiya Bus Station and Global Village. Route 103, connecting Union Bus Station to Global Village, will have departures every 40 minutes. Routes 104 and 106, linking Al Ghubaiba and Mall of the Emirates bus stations respectively to Global Village, will each run on a 60-minute frequency.
The buses, equipped with modern amenities and safety features, aim to provide a comfortable travel experience throughout the season. According to the RTA, these services are part of broader efforts to boost connectivity among Dubai’s major tourism and entertainment venues while encouraging the public to adopt sustainable transport options.
In addition to the road transport services, the RTA will also resume its tourist water transport operations within Global Village. Two environmentally friendly electric abras will be in service, offering visitors leisure cruises along the attraction’s waterways. These trips provide unique views of the venue’s facilities and entertainment zones, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
The initiative underscores Dubai’s continued focus on integrating diverse and sustainable transportation solutions to support large-scale events and tourist destinations. As Global Village reopens, these transport enhancements are expected to improve visitor access and contribute to reducing traffic congestion in the area.
